Early College
Early College
Clinton High School has partnered with Fitchburg State University (FSU) and Mount Wachusett Community College (MWCC) to offer CHS students an Early College Program. The Early College program is completely free to students and families. Beginning the 2025-26 school year, CHS received Early College Designation by DESE. This will expand opportunities offered to students.
During the 2025-26 school year, the classes currently being offered at CHS are:
- Fall 2025
Sociology (MWCC) at CHS
Principles of Management (FSU) at CHS
- Spring 2026
Cultural Awareness (MWCC) at CHS
Fundamentals of Marketing (FSU) at CHS
Additional class options to be determined. Students who successfully complete an Early College course may also have the opportunity to take classes on campus at MWCC, simultaneously finishing their high school graduation requirements while earning free college credit.
Students in the Class of 2027 and 2028 are now eligible to apply to the Early College program. Here is a link to access the application. Additional instructions are outlined in the presentation below. The priority application is due April 17th, 2026.
