Tardy Policy

Students are tardy to school if not seated in Period 1 when the school bell rings at 7:25 AM.  Each time a student has an unexcused tardy to school he/she will be assigned an office detention that will be served the same day or, if extenuating circumstances exist, the following school day.

If a student is tardy to school due to what he/she believes to be unavoidable and/or extenuating circumstances, these reasons must be presented and/or documented to the administration for possible consequences.

All students must report to the office for a late slip after the start time of 7:25 AM.  Failure to do so will result in a General Detention or possible suspension.  

Students are tardy to class if they arrive after the bell has rung.  Students are allowed one unexcused tardy per class per marking period.

For every two (2) unexcused tardies, the student will be assessed an unexcused absence.  A student who is more than ten (10) minutes late to class without proper authorization will be assessed an unexcused absence.
